Great place right on the beach. Free wifi. Huge board walk close by. Tons of fisherman and close too several bars and places too eat!
Upon late night check in, I mentioned it being out first time to Pensacola and the fact we were going to walk the beach in effort to see crabs. (My little girls desire). Front desk staff handed me free flashlights and buckets for our mission. Every staff member has been kind, friendly, polite. The grounds are clean, pools are lovely, outside table area fantastic... Overall a great choice!! Thank you for knowing how to make someone feel like a person, not just a number (like some of the larger chains around)! Fully recommended :-)
I had booked a room with a king size bed and an ocean view, but when we arrived they didn't have one available. Our romantic beach weekend was spent in a room with two queen beds that smelled like cat urine. The only thing I enjoyed was the location.
Our room was ground level and smelled very musty I believe it had mold in it (I saw black residue on the inside of the lap shade!) Also when we were packing to leave my husband found a bloody tampon under the bed! My little one was sick for a week after we got home. The location was great with two pools and direct access to the beach. If we go back I will pay a little more for a nicer hotel. I give 2 stars purely on the location.
When we got there, the room reeked of mildew, and the floor was damp. There was also mold around the wood on the mirror. The only reason we didn't ask to switch rooms was that we were only there for one night, and we didn't want to lose any beach time. With that being said, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and breakfast was decent, and the location was great. I wouldn't stay here if I was planning on staying more than one night.
