The boardwalk has quite a few cute little shops. When you are out at quiet water beach, it's nice to run up to the boardwalk and grab a slice of pizza or a drink from bamboo willies!!
Great place to get away and relax, have some drinks and enjoy dinner while taking in the sights of the beaches, sun and water
Very busy beach with tons of families on it, but did have a lifeguard on duty, so I felt safe for my kids. Not rushing waves, not knocking down my three-year-old, so it was well worth it to be on the sound side of the beach. The water was murky, but we were able to touch a hermit crab and see some sort of pipefish swimming in the water. Dolphins on the outskirts of the beach. Wonderful time with my family. 5 stars!
