My wife and I visited the Pensacola area the first week in October. We went online and found this restaurant. The pros: Good service. The cons: Poor seating... no view of the bay or inlet when you're sitting down at your table. The food was not good... we both had grouper cooked differently, but the fish was either over cooked or fresh frozen - very tough. We specifically asked for fresh fish. We found several other restaurants in the area that were much better.
A must. Good food. Excellent wait staff. Choose time to get your name on waiting list; can be long due to restaurant's popularity. Oyster sampler platter has some that you might not like; better to get all Oysters Rockefeller or other of your favorite. Blackening on fish is sometimes excessive. All that said, it is still the best place to eat on Pensacola Beach.
Located on Ft. Pickens Rd, across the street from beautiful Gulf in Pensacola Beach, FL. Excellent food! Love their fresh Grouper sandwich, & they have the best Spinach Artichoke appetizer! Great service even when extremely busy, which they are most of the day! You can dine inside or outside. Beautiful views of Bay or the Gulf. Lunch menu prices are more affordable than dinner menu. Parking space is limited.
The waitress and waiters were amazing and the food was just excellent. I️ ordered the seafood platter and the crab was just so tasty. I️ am betting they are among the top seafood restaurants in Pensacola beach at the moment of this review. But 4 stars cos there is always room for improvement on the environment. They could order some new chairs.
Great Pensacola restaurant. Been coming here for years. Great food, great drinks, and awesome staff. Need some beach volleyball? You got it. Seating inside or out. Generous helpings and big plates with lots of choices for appetizers. Ample parking but you can expect to wait in the summer months. Multiple levels of seating with a covered deck. Make it your next stop after the beach in Pensacola!!
