I recently visited Shaggy's for the first time. The atmosphere was good, but the service I received from Heather took the experience above and beyond. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely funny. The royal reds were fantastic and so was the cheeseburger! The drink I got, the summer smash, was amazing! I will be back for sure!
This is one of our favorite stops on beach vacations. Always great service with a wonderful open air casual atmosphere. Definitely get the smoked fish salad appetizer and try the local brewed beer. Only got 4 stars because the raw oysters were served warm. When brought to the server's attention, he replaced them immediately and explained that they don't serve oysters on ice. All the other food and drinks were great and I can't wait to get back.
Shaggy's was our first stop on Pensacola Beach and it for sure set high expectations for all the other restaurants we were going to try. Kirstin was our waitress/bartender and she was so sweet. Our kids received free ice cream at the end of our stay and when the kids are happy, we're happy. Great place to eat and relax.
I had a wonderful night with the girls at Shaggy... We met a young woman name Heather that served us tonight.. She was a great help with choosing my order... I'm not too fond with seafood but I'll eat some... So this day she requested that I should try Chicken Quesadilla... Which I chosen and to my acknowledge, the meal was excellent... I will come back anytime... Great service, great servers, and great atmosphere... Love it
So... when I first went to Shaggy's, I'm not going to lie, I wasn't excited at all. my best friend dragged me there, and I honestly didn't even want to leave the house that night because i had spent the entire day working and was so tired and just wanted to relax at home. but LET ME TELL YOU. this place is so awesome. such a great island vibe, i was able to relax even though i wasn't at home. Also, the gluten free menu is pretty awesome. i had the fresh blue crab claws, which were delishhhhh. KC, our server really was the sweetest too. he made sure we had everything he need. and honestly, he really helped cheer me up. :) i would recommend this place to all my friends for sure. way to go KC & Shaggy's, keep it up.
